STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. A career in STEM can range from a software developer, sound engineer, biochemist, to an accountant. Most American parents are aware that STEM jobs are the jobs of the 21st century. Not only are STEM jobs predicted to double in growth over the next decade, but they also provide the individuals holding these jobs with an above average salary. According to the 2021 Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median average wage for a STEM occupation is $95, 420. per year compared to $40, 120. per year for a non-STEM occupation. Naturally, most parents would be happy to hear their child was interested in pursuing a STEM career. However, not all children are suited to follow STEM careers, based upon their personality and skill sets. In general, individuals well suited to STEM careers tend to be skilled at problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and analysis. And they should enjoy learning and be competent in field-specific content knowledge (science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics).
When it comes to pursuing a STEM career, a child with a club Birth Card holds an advantage over Birth Cards of other suits because clubs possess mental gifts. And this is especially true for an 8♣ Birth Card because they excel at systems thinking. A systems thinker understands that a system is more than just the sum of its parts. They recognize a system to entail a synergistic interaction between its parts. This understanding is an 8♣’s superpower. Many 8♣ pursue higher education because they enjoy the challenge of professions that utilize systems thinking. These professions include engineering, scientific research, computer science, and coding. Therefore, if you are a parent of an 8♣, encourage them to engage in activities and opportunities that can lead to these types of careers. Suggest STEM activities, robotics clubs, and coding classes.
This is so me! This is my birthday card and I'm a web developer.
